About

I have always been keen on photography, art, drawing and simple pictures. Over the last ten years or so this interest has grown (and waned sometimes!). At social events I have always been the 'one with the camera' and taken many holiday photographs too. I was also one of the first people I know to go digital, back in 1999 and I thought it was the best thing since sliced bread!

Abstract, macro and landscape images interest me and I love simplicity in both photography and art that has a surreal edge to it. In my view, some of the most interesting artists are a bit ‘off the wall’ and I am fond of Salvador Dali, Matisse and even Hieronymous Bosch. In the world of modern photography I am inspired by David Noton, Lee Frost and Joe Cornish.

Living in West Sussex offers huge opportunities for taking dramatic photographs but I'll confess I don't get up early enough to capture sunrises on the coast.

I've been fortunate enough to travel fairly extensively and so will upload more photos from around the world in due course.

In the meantime, enjoy having a browse through the pictures and checkout the News page for details of my first exhibition!
